Nadine Hay
Solicitor, LLB (Hons), Grad. Dip. PLT

Nadine Hay was born and raised in Taroom on her family’s cattle property. She completed her senior secondary education as a boarding student at Rockhampton Girls Grammar, where she was also a Boarding Prefect. Nadine then attended the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane and completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours.

During her studies, she gained valuable experience working as a paralegal in inner-city Brisbane law firms.
In August 2023, Nadine joined V.A.J. Byrne and Co Lawyers. She primarily practices in family law but also practices in wills, commercial law, and conveyancing, including rural farmland transactions.

Growing up in a rural area, Nadine developed a passion for law, driven by a commitment to ensuring access to justice for all, particularly in rural and regional communities. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive legal support to her clients.

Outside of work, Nadine enjoys camping and fishing with her partner and helping out on her family’s farm
